Beatriz is a 45-year-old woman whose daughter, Valentina, has disappeared. One day, Beatriz has a chance encounter with a young woman, Violeta, who is physically identical to her daughter. The woman invites Violeta to her home, where they begin a kind of performative game where the girl pretends to be Beatriz's daughter, establishing a strange relationship and finding a connection in their painful existences.
