In Vojvodina during the war, a partisan commander Zarki fell into the hands of the local Germans. They bound him in chains and take him from one village to another, torturing him in public so he could tell the names from his movement. Bewildered by his resisting power, the Germans tend to break him down and destroy the pride which is his answer to their torture. Frenzied of powerlessness, they ultimately choose the most horrifying death - they buried him alive in the sand that will cover the last trait of him, but he died victorious: He died...

A Yugoslavian spoof of Dirty Harry and James Bond movies. A young inspector called Crazy Head goes after bandits that do not hesitate to use all kinds of vicious means in their shady ventures.
Before the War
Engineer Maric finds out about an affair between his wife Rina and his best friend, a lawyer Novakovic. Maric leaves the house with suicidal intentions. At the big funeral, Novakovic consoles unfortunate Rina, while in the funeral procession a whole bunch of suspicious people try to claim close relations with the deceased one in order to get hold of a piece of his inheritance.

In 1945 the forgotten Serbian World War II Hero Walter got killed while defending the occupied city of Sarajevo. In 1972 the actor Velimir Bata Zivojinovic changed the history of China portraying Walter in a Yugoslav partisan movie. More than a billion people saw that film until today. Myth. Legend.

Shots in the Sky
Upon returning home at war's end, a young lieutenant discovers that his family has been murdered by the Nazis. It's all the handiwork of a treasonous "Chetnik," who during the war worked against the partisans on behalf of the Germans. In bitter retaliation, the lieutenant sets about to decimate the Chetnik's family. He stops short, however, when he realizes that the sins of the fathers are not always passed down to the innocent children.

A young prison inmate gets released together with an old gangster. They go to town together in order to visit their families and friends, but nobody knows that the old man is mortally ill.
