The McGurk Way
At the dedication of a new road sign, Dan McGurk tells the story of his forebears and how they helped transform rutted dirt roads into the modern highways of today. He speaks of the benefits of the trucking industry and how it depends on the nation's roadways, and he rails against regulations that make the industry less efficient and profitable. After recounting the amounts the trucking industry pays in taxes, he watches the unveiling of the sign naming the highway The McGurk Way.

A Man's Game
During one blaze, Firefighters Tim and his partner Dave (Ward Bond) rescue pretty stenographer Judy (Evelyn Knapp). Falling in love with the girl, the boys try to save her from getting mixed up in an embezzlement scheme.

Hondo
Army despatch rider Hondo Lane discovers a woman and her son living in the midst of warring Apaches, and he becomes their protector.

Flight Into Nowhere
When headstrong pilot Bill Kellogg disobeys orders and takes a plane to photograph potential landing fields in uncharted Latin American country, he ends up running out of gas and crashing. The members of a nearby tribal village save Bill from the wreckage, but arent willing to help him get home.

Gun Law
Finding a man alone in the desert, Marshal Tom is relieved - of his horse, clothes and water. When he catches up to Raven, he finds him dying from drinking bad water. When he gets to Gunsight, everyone thinks that he is the outlaw Raven and he plays it out so that he can end lawlessness.

School for Romance
Count Romansky is a newspaper columnist who specializes in romance issues. When he loses his job, he opens up a school where he instructs his pretty pupils on affairs of the heart.

Against the Law
Steve Wayne, a daring young ambulance driver for a large hospital in Los Angeles, is a rival with his friend, Doctor Bill Barie (the house surgeon in the Emergency Ward), for the attentions of nurse Martha Gray. Despite their rivalry, Steve still endeavors to free his friend from the grip of a merciless racketeer and a gambling gang. But Steve fails in his efforts and then sets out to avenge his friend and smash-up the gang.

Home in Indiana
'Sparke' Thorton, a lad with a penchant for trouble, is sent to live with his Uncle and Aunt Bolt in Indiana after his Aunt Henrietta Bolt dies. Though he's not happy about the arrangement at first, his love of horses and his affection for a young filly that he plans to race make life bearable. He also finds romance with tomboyish 'Char' Bruce who shares his love for horses.

A Fight to the Finish
A feud between taxicab companies forms the basis of this drama. The trouble begins when the hero is double-crossed and framed for a murder by his rival with whom he was competing for the position of fleet superintendent in the city's biggest cab company.

The Fighting Ranger
The Buck Jones western The Fighting Ranger utilizes its familiar plotline with excellent results. When Jones' kid brother is killed by the villains, our hero quits the Texas Rangers and sets off to seek vengeance on his own. He ends up just below the Mexican border, where bandit leader Cougar (Bradley Page) lives high off the hog, knowing he can't be extradited.

The death of a young woman's father puts a cowboy on the trail of a killer.

Justice of the Range
The McLean and Brennan ranches are both losing cattle to rustlers and each blames the other when cattle buyer Graves is the real culprit. To throw suspicion off himself Graves hires Tim to investigate, not knowing that this will be his downfall.

Inspector Steve Trent tracks the stolen Cortez emerald, last pilfered by a murdered gangster.

Conflict
Pat's ability as a logging/mining camp fighter sets him up to box prizefighter Corrigan. Unknown to his supporters, he's actually in collusion with Corrigan to throw the fight - until he runs into reporter Maude.
