Huhuu meanwhile becomes a symbol of licentiousness and tomfoolery. The film is based on the short story "Popi and Huhuu" by Estonian author Friedebert Tuglas.

Their impressionistic "collies" won't be acknowledged. Under cover as circus lions, the bear cubs travel back to Russia to find the heritage of their mom.
