On her first night as a dockside dancer, Mary Foster loses her job when she tries to fend of the advances of first mate Groder. On the street and being pursued by a Policeman who thinks she is a prostitute, Mary seeks shelter on an old freighter. She is soon discovered by second mate Tommy and they quickly fall in love, but with first mate Groder lurking around will their lives work out in the end?

The Girl from Calgary

A French-Canadian girl is a champion bronc rider and is also a nightclub singer. An ambitious young man sees her act one night and is struck by her talent, realizing that she is good enough to become a Broadway star. He convinces her to accompany him to New York, where she indeed does become a Broadway star. However, the young man finds himself being squeezed out by greedy Broadway producers who see the talented young girl as their own personal gold mine.

Wilbur is insanely jealous of every man and believes that his wife, Carmelita, is being unfaithful. Billy, his landlord, offers to take out Carmelita to a cafe and have Wilbur follow them to test his wife's fidelity.

Billy Brooks, a lawyer, sets out to get a divorce for a client by framing him in a compromising situation. But the scheme goes askew when the client's wife gets a job as Billy's new stenographer and he, not knowing who she is, selects her as the correspondent to frame her own husband.
