The Wrestler
With good guidance from director Zeki Okten but an uninspired script, this story of a brother and his Turkish family influenced by old and new traditions is somewhat uneven. Turkish Uncle Buck. A funny slob (Tarik Akan) leaves his village after getting into trouble. He leaves with his friend (Suleyman Turan) who blackmails him by putting a stolen diamond in his pocket. He comes to stay at his sisters house and all the family are glad to see him, but not his brother in law who hates him. Here he falls in love with his nephew's teacher Zehra (Hale Soygazi).
