Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal

A university student from an orthodox Tamil Brahmin family is sexually abused by a stranger who offers her lift on a rainy night, then kicked out of her family for it. After all this she becomes determined to make it on her own.

Mehrban

Mehrban is a 1967 Hindi language film written and directed by A. Bhimsingh. It is a remake of Bhimsingh's own Tamil film Padikkadha Medhai (1960) which itself was a remake of the 1953 Bengali film Jog Biyog, based on the novel of the same name by Ashapoorna Devi.

Khandan

An ancestral property is distributed between two brothers, then a couple of years later, bitterness divides their families. An outsider in the younger brother's family tries to kill the others, which is resisted in time, and they reunite.
