Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles

Paris, 1930. Luis Buñuel is penniless after the scandal surrounding the release of his last movie. Sculptor Ramón Acín, a good friend, buys a lottery ticket and promises Buñuel that he will pay for his next movie if he wins the prize.

August 1936. After being separated from her family by the Falangists, Concha Monrás spends her last days in a prison cell. With her young cellmate Adela, she reconstructs her relationship with Ramón Acín and remembers his life as an artist, a pedagogue and a man.
