The husband is one of the players, and the instructor, not knowing who he is, shows her picture around the table. This prompts a round-table discussion in which none of the standard rules for civility is part of the discussion.

Meet My Girl

Ralph is the poor inventor of an automobile motor with revolutionary claims. Marvin is the wealthy and one time college pal. Unknown to either of them, they both seek the hand of a charming young lady whose creditor-hounded parents' desires are for a well-to-do son-in-law. However, the girl's affection leans toward Ralph. In the meantime Ralph enlists the aid of his wealthy pal in the matter of financing the motor factory. Thus assured of success, he hastens to his sweetheart with matrimonial plans all set. Taking Alice and Ruth to a show with Alice 's father & his boss's money they see that its leading man is an old friend of the girls. He invites them out after the show, but not having money Eddie has to pay the bill. Eddie calls Joe to tell him what is going on. The girls escape to the actor's room and go out the window but Joe and Eddie finally catch them.
