A Cultural Film
To watch a pornographic film in Egypt, you need four things: the videotape; a VCR; a television; and a place to watch it. Three horny Egyptian 20-somethings try to pull these elements together in a day-long 'mission-impossible' to watch what is euphemistically called "thaqafi" (cultural) -- a codeword for porn meant to keep parents, friends and colleagues out of the loop (and those in the know in).

Clash
In 2013, in Cairo, a tragic fate brings together several detainees from different political and social backgrounds inside a police truck, during the turmoil that followed the ousting of president Morsi.

An Hour and a Half
Based on the Ayyat train accident that killed 361 in 2002, this ensemble drama delves into the intense human stories of the passengers in a third-class coach car during the hour and a half before the crash.

Immobilia Crime Story
Kamel Helmy is a famous writer, in the late 1940s, living in Cairo, in the famous Imobilia building, after the death of his wife and the departure of his children from home. He suffers from loneliness and schizophrenia. One day he calls a girl named Samah who had befriended Facebook in an attempt to ease his isolation.

The Other Cheek
Great central performances drive this tale of guilt, repentance, and revenge. After Nashaat’s daughter is viciously attacked by his neighbors’ dog, he is indignant to hear claims she provoked the attack. Reading the accusatory article aloud to his manipulative ex-wife leads to a heated confrontation, leaving the incandescent father with no choice but to take frustrations out on the perpetrator.
