Every night Dolores reads stories from the book of Amalur to her son Julián before going to sleep. Inazio, father of a family, agnostic, makes fun of his wife's beliefs. One night, he returns to his village drunk, claiming to have lost his home in an Aizkolaris gamble, an act that they will eternally regret.
