In the Mood for Love

In Hong Kong of 1962, Mrs. Chan and Mr. Chow, a journalist, move into neighbouring apartments on the same day. Their encounters are formal and polite—until a discovery about their respective spouses creates an intimate bond between them.

The Kong family has four daughters. Hilda, the eldest sister, assumes the role of a mother and often lets romance slip by. Third sister Hedy introduces her to Sun Ruhao, an engineer, but Sun is snatched by second sister Helen. The youngest girl Hazel drops out of school in pursuit of love. Dreams Come True

Ostensibly a romantic comedy about mistaken identity, this film stars Kitty Ting Hao in two roles, the first as poor flower girl Fangfang and rich relation of a family in Hong Kong, who arrived in Hong Kong to see if she can feel better with the warmer climate. She meets Xihong, played by Kelly Lai Chen, who is the son in the family in Hong Kong. He is, of course, smitten with her, but when the secret is out, will he still feel the same?
