Yorgos lives on his own in Athens. He lacks purpose, self-confidence, identity and peer acceptance. He fills the void by becoming the 'Red Hulk', as he is known at his football team's fan club. Until the day he gets involved in racial violence, entailing new problems and dilemmas.

Makis comes from the modern world, while Maria lives in a forgotten one. What is "progress" for him is a threat to her. A car accident brings them closer, and the orgasmic taste of Nuggets brings them even closer. But it takes much more to be together.
