The Bridegroom of Blue Beach

The movie follows two castaway children who grow up with one of their fathers, but must fend for themselves after they are captured and deified by natives. Adapted from Henry De Vere Stacpoole's novel The Blue Lagoon, via the film of the same name, Pengantin Pantai Biru introduces several differences to the story.

Nyi Ageng the Decoy Queen

Increasingly jaded by how men treat women (including how her own mother is casually abused by her father), Nyi Ageng (Suzanna) decides that's not going to be the path for her. She's forced to marry a wealthy man who later dies under mysterious circumstances.
