Hayflower, Quiltshoe and the Feisty First-grader

Hayflower has started school, where she learns a lot of exciting brand new things. Quiltshoe doesn’t like to stay home without a sister to play with. When Hayflower tells about an upcoming fishing trip with her class, Quiltshoe comes up with a complicated plan, so that it will be Quiltshoe attending the trip instead of Hayflower. Hayflower starts her summer holiday on a badminton camp which is ruined by Cynthia, a runaway chicken. Quiltshoe makes a new friend, Anita, who, to everyone's surprise, turns out to be a chicken. Under the leadership of constables Bellybutton and Goggleclock, a big chicken hunt is launched.
