A group of oil drillers of the Factory B, focused on success rather than praise, strive to find the oil despite the decision on the suspension of the drilling works.

The Pursuit

Jelena and dr Mirkovic realize that their relationship is not just fulfilling the party's task of better maintenance of the illegal press. When Mirkovic joined partisans, one of the illegal fighters didn't endure interrogation of the police and reveals the pressroom's location. Jelena manages to save herself and the press continues its work.

The Poem

An influential Serbian poet decides to leave Nazi-occupied Belgrade and join partisans in the country. A young resistance activist, however, is not so thrilled with the idea because the old and womanizing intellectual doesn't fit in with his strict moralistic standards.
