With hopes to become a successful mason, he suddenly finds himself the star of a TV commercial. Drawing attention to the rising consumerism culture and its effects on individuals in Turkey, the film was allowed to be shown with a State Council verdict.

All of that is about to change though when a group of men staying at Aysel and her father's home after their car breaks down, rape Aysel and kill her father. After him are the military, who repress the loyalist peasants with brutality, and a gang of thieves, who want to get a cache of money. Velasquez thin hope of survival is his faithful bodyguard Cobra who may eventually help him escape, or at least get some documents out of the country. But Cobra can not do this alone, and alliances do not seem possible in the midst of a trigger-happy revolution.
