A student of music education comes to the music festival where organizers mix him up with the conductor. He accepts the role which creates lots of comic situations.

A young reporter girl nicknamed Cream Pie writes an article on money-making in small businesses. She meets a married shoemaker who falls for her and steals his wife's money for their love nest, but Cream Pie discovers it by accident and takes it to the newspapers' office. Shoemaker's wife interferes into this whole confusion and the whole fuss resolves at a hospital.
Murder Commited in a Sly and Cruel Manner and from Low Motives
An eminent Belgrade physician is found murdered. The investigation reveals dark side of his character - illegal abortions and abuse of his wife. The wife's lover becomes the prime suspect. The newspaper reporter, however, starts his own investigation. Besides being a crime story, this movie in quasi-documentary fashion presents alternative cultural scene of Belgrade in late sixties.
Happiness Comes at Nine o'Clock
One day, Happiness and Sorrow come to town. Happiness leaves her magical cloak in the local inn, saying that it fulfills every wish to those who wear it. However, Sorrow knows that Happiness doesn't come alone, but brings worries with herself, too. The magical cloak changes its owner and fulfills the most unusual wishes of timid professor of violin, old night guard, naive student and blonde girl. When all their wishes are fulfilled, they find out that they did not achieve happiness.
Liar
A thirty-year-old girl is nearly taken in by a confidence trickster, who likes her enough to return her money, but not enough to marry her.
Scherzo
Story about people who have neither luck in finding new instruments to play after war, nor new romance. Instruments experience war just like people do. Originally shot in 1971, the film was not released until 1994.
