The Last Days of John Allen Chau

John Allen Chau believes he has been chosen to save the souls of the uncontacted tribe of North Sentinel Island, a protected site in the Indian Ocean where outsiders are forbidden. He embarks on a harrowing journey to proselytize the Sentinelese in his desperate search for identity, purpose and belonging.

A group of misfit high school students stumble upon an ancient Aztec death whistle. They find that when they blow the whistle, the terrifying sound it emits will invoke their future deaths to hunt them down. As the body count rises, the friends investigate the origins of the deadly artifact in a desperate effort to stop the horrifying chain of events that they have set in motion.

As a Chinese boy transitions from childhood to adolescence, he finds himself lost in a world that tells him he should hate where he comes from with being confronted by racial hatred. He stumbles across some strange footage on TV. SUNNY digs into the the importance of Chinese history, the need for young people to see themselves, and the anger that comes when loneliness engulfs you.
