The Trace of Your Lips

Román is an actor who works in B-movies and who’s isolated in his apartment as a pandemic keeps the world on edge. Aldo, an indigenous young man, is an essential worker who’s allowed by the authorities to come and go. They live across from each other in an apartment complex. They meet online, and they can talk and even see each other in videocalls, but they can’t meet in person. Eventually, the temptation to break out of their lockdown comes up.

Xutaj

A confrontation between Ignacio and Xutaj, who are father and son, at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic confinement in Mexico. Together they must learn that seeing life in different ways does not reduce their love for each other.

The Muleteer

1930, in the highlands of Jalisco. Emilia, a teenager, silently lives her sexual awakening with her adopted brothers, Caro and Martín. In search of her freedom, she flees into the bush where she poses as a young muleteer to survive among the living and the dying, among guards and deserters, unaware that Martín is stalking her. Emilia's path will lead her back to the ranch to defy her destiny and escape with Caro.
