Love Comes After

In this romantic tragedy, love drama, three stories are interwoven with characters that are trying to solve their emotional problems and unresolved relationships from the past during one night. Each of the characters survive their loneliness with others.

Transition

Jana says goodbye to her band members, friends, ex-girlfriend and her family. They all share a feeling of regret saying goodbye to her, but also joy for her bright future in Michigan, where she's going on post graduate studies. Only her sister knows a secret, that Jana is not going away to study, Jana is going away to have her sex change. These are her two days to say goodbye to her life.

The film reveals the dramatic destiny of wonderful young women, journalists who in 1936 started the socially-engaged magazine "Woman Today". The editorial office is in today's Nušićeva Street in Belgrade. They are highly educated. They skillfully dealt with censorship until 1940. The magazine was then banned. What were they willing to do, how much were they willing to take risks, what were they sacrificing, what were they warning about, what were they writing about? What fate awaits them?
