The Headsman and the Harlot

Sweden, beginning of the 18th Century. Executions are popular entertainment and brothels a given. Still the executioner and the whore are both despised and shunned. The executioner became executioner against his will and the whore, only 17 years old, was forced into the brothel. This is the story of how the two meet and exchange cruelty with tenderness, guilt with innocence.

Mahagonny

The city of Mahagonny, founded by three criminals, becomes a place for people looking for their luck or money. One among them is the lumberjack Jim Mahoney. However, he is disappointed by what the city is.

Midsommardansen

A group of young people gathered on the countryside to celebrate midsummer dancing, drinking and romancing. And some fighting too. Followed by more violence, jealousy and guilt. On the journey home one of the cars the travel in collides with a bus.
